Dr. Eric Berkowitz

Dr. Eric Berkowitz attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he served as a Senator for the Student-Faculty Senate, earning his medical degree in 2001. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center and entered the dermatology residency program at Mount Sinai Medical Center in 2002.

Dr. Berkowitz completed his residency in 2005 having served as Chief Resident during his final year. Following his residency, he completed a one-year fellowship in Procedural Dermatology at Mount Sinai and served as the Director of Surgical, Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology in the Division of Dermatology at Montefiore Medical Center from 2006 to 2009. He has since worked in a large multispecialty medical practice. Establishing his private practice on the Upper West Side of Manhattan allows Dr. Berkowitz to treat patients in a more comprehensive manor for a full range of dermatological concerns from medical and surgical treatments to those that are aesthetic, cosmetic or corrective in nature. Dr. Berkowitz offers the latest innovations for diagnosing and treating skin disorders, customized to meet the needs of each patient.

Heather Johnson, PA-C

Heather Johnson is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant, specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She is certified through NCCPA and received her Master’s degree from Pace University’s Physician Assistant Program. Heather graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics.

She currently treats a wide range of dermatologic problems including acne, warts, rashes, inflammatory disorders, and skin cancer. Heather also performs various cosmetic procedures, such as botox, fillers, laser therapy, microneedling, dermaplaning, and chemical peels. She is a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants.
