Dr. Eric Berkowitz

Dr. Eric Berkowitz attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he served as a Senator for the Student-Faculty Senate, earning his medical degree in 2001. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center and entered the dermatology residency program at Mount Sinai Medical Center in 2002.

Dr. Berkowitz completed his residency in 2005 having served as Chief Resident during his final year. Following his residency, he completed a one-year fellowship in Procedural Dermatology at Mount Sinai and served as the Director of Surgical, Laser and Cosmetic Dermatology in the Division of Dermatology at Montefiore Medical Center from 2006 to 2009. He has since worked in a large multispecialty medical practice. Establishing his private practice on the Upper West Side of Manhattan allows Dr. Berkowitz to treat patients in a more comprehensive manor for a full range of dermatological concerns from medical and surgical treatments to those that are aesthetic, cosmetic or corrective in nature. Dr. Berkowitz offers the latest innovations for diagnosing and treating skin disorders, customized to meet the needs of each patient.

Dr. Claire Wolinsky

Dr. Claire Wolinsky is a Board Certified Medical, Cosmetic and Pediatric Dermatologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Graduating Summa Cum Laude, Dr. Wolinsky received a dual degree in Art and Art History and Biomedical engineering from Tufts University. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she then served as Clinical Research Coordinator with Spanish speaking patients at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Wolinsky earned her M.D. from Albany Medical College where she was top 10% of her class selected for Dean's List and subsequently admitted to the coveted Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in only her junior year of medical school. After medical school, she completed her dermatology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital where, during her final year, she was chosen to serve as Chief Resident of Dermatology for the hospital and affiliates.

As a complement to her private practice, Dr. Wolinsky holds the position of Clinical Instructor at Mount Sinai Hospital and Dermatology Attending at Elmhurst Hospital overseeing and teaching Mount Sinai Hospital dermatology residents and medical students in both weekly pediatric and adult complex medical dermatology clinics where she also coordinates and leads the inpatient dermatology consult service. Dr. Wolinsky has been awarded multiple Mentor and Teacher of the Year Awards in recognition for her commitment to teaching Mount Sinai Hospital Dermatology residents.

As a cosmetic dermatology expert, Dr. Wolinsky has gained a reputation for her natural, conservative facial rejuvenation. An accomplished portrait artist, she believes in drawing from her artistic knowledge of light and shadows while utilizing her medical expertise in facial anatomy to provide a holistic approach to skin care treatments. Her patients laud her honest and warm bedside manner as key characteristics that separate her from other providers.

Heather Johnson, PA-C

Heather Johnson is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant, specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She is certified through NCCPA and received her Master’s degree from Pace University’s Physician Assistant Program.
Heather graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics.

She currently treats a wide range of dermatologic problems including acne, warts, rashes, inflammatory disorders, and skin cancer. Heather also performs various cosmetic procedures, such as botox, fillers, laser therapy, microneedling, dermaplaning, and chemical peels. She is a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
